Ms. Mom hosted a luncheon Wednesday on the back porch. The table was set with lovely lime green and blue melamine plates and lime green glasses. Decorations were newly potted marigolds, geraniums and tomato plants.

The menu included peanut butter and jelly sandwiches delicately cut into fourths, orange slices, fresh whole strawberries, warm sugar cookies and lemonade with slices of lemon.

Guests were Daniel, Rebekah, Benjamin, Andrew and Sara From Down the Street. Oreo the Dog crashed the party and snitched a sandwich, but other than that he was a good boy and Ms. Mom is considering inviting him to her next social event.
